In my other life I am a lawyer. I run a litigation department in large organization. I have always been driven and have been described as "highly strung" on more than one occasion!
My husband and I were introduced by mutual friends and fell in love right away. We were married in 2009 on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.
We live in outer suburban Sydney close to our families although we would both love a sea change one day.
I am the black sheep in a very typically Australian family who love casual clothes, bare feet and simple living. I on the other hand have always loved dressing up, high heels, preppy clothes, linen napkins and etiquette. I went to the famous June Dally Watkins finishing school in secret and my family still don't know!
This side of me blossomed when I got married. I was awoken to the world of monograms and place settings, dinner parties and 'wife dressing'.
Married life has been a year of cooking, entertaining, home-making, traveling and tears (as we sent my sister off to America). Our next adventures will include ridiculously grown up activities such as starting a business, buying a house and having a baby (the order is yet to be confirmed!).
