Remember me? Sporadic blogger? Fair-blogging friend?
After all the excitement (for want of a better word) of my surgery things have returned to the usual humdrum reality of life.
Sure, we have eaten out, watched movies, visited with friends, blah blah blah. I have gone shopping, tried new recipes and hubs has had some gigs. We are planning a holiday and a few small trips. All these things are blog worthy. All these things are the things I love reading in your blogs! My motivation to blog..... Meh.
I still feel that, until there is....news....superficial blogging is disingenuous. There is, sadly, no news on that front.
Hubs is about to go into lock-down prior to his next show, the musical Shout! This runs for a week in September. In October all his guitar students have exams (about which he is more nervous than his own exams!) So I am once again a rock and roll widow!
So I am doing what all good Type A career girls / domestic divas do. I have ordered an Erin Condren planner, bought some recipe books and started back watching West Wing from the start! Ahhhh, observing the chaotic order of the Bartlett White House is a balm for my frazzled nerves.
In recent days I have suggested in jest to Becky (The Branches) that there is a link between blogging and PCOS! So many blog buddies have PCOS and fertility problems.
The more I thought about it, another possibility emerged. So many of the bloggers I follow and adore are pregnant or new mothers. Melissa (For the Love) and Megan (In this wonderful life) will welcome Blaire and the twins any moment. Whitney (Glamourous Life of a Housewife) has just announced her second blessing.
Maybe blogging actually helps fertility! Has anyone done a study?? Someone get on that!
In all seriousness, I understand that there is (probably) no link between my blog and my PCOS or my fertility. I do know that I have encountered some amazing women via blogging, women who continue to inspire me as a wife and in my journey to be a mother.
Until the science comes in one way or another, I think I'll keep blogging. Not every day. Hopefully every week.
We'll see!
Ps CJ and Danny just had their first kiss and it made my stomach flip!
