World Premiere

Hi there! Welcome to my world. Welcome to my secret double life!

My name is Elle and like a lot of you in the blogosphere I have been enjoying other people's blogs for some time. I felt it was time to step up and contribute. I hope you come along!

This blog will be about half of my double life - my wife life. This is the life I live with my wonderful husband of one year, making a home, building a life and enjoying each day. I cook, I bake, I wear vintage aprons and read ettiquette books. I love 50s housewives and books and movies and long for a simpler time. We live in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia close to our families and friends.

My other life is very different. I am a lawyer and run a busy litigation practice in a government department. I argue and fight for a living in a world still dominated by men. I am fierce and I love my work. Few of my colleagues (or adversaries) would suspect that I have a Jessie Steele collection and that the Pioneer Woman is my soul sister!

Ssssh! It is a secret. I like having a part of my life just for my husband and family and I cannot wait to share it with you.
