Pizza Perfection

Hi everyone

As promised I made the Pioneer Woman Pizza last night. Yuuumm.

I made the dough in the morning and let it rise during the day. The dough was easier to make than I thought it would be. I usually use flat bread when I make pizza at home. Brace yourselves ladies (and gents...). We do not have Pillsbury in Australia! Not pizza base, crescent rolls, cinnamon buns. Nothing. I know this will shock the American viewers as when I visited Amy in Boston I saw about 4 rows of Pillsbury in the supermarket. How we survive without it I do not understand.

So I made the dough!

The aftermath

I made two pizzas last night and we had it again tonight as leftovers! We made the potato and leek and the tomato basil. Potato and leek is not a topping I have ever thought of having on a pizza. Man DOES IT WORK!

The tomato and basil was my fave. It was heavenly.

I certainly recommend this pizza. I think it is almost as good as the pizza at Manta Ray Cafe on Hamilton Island we had on our honeymoon. Almost!

So Hubs' show finished this weekend. I went to the final performance on Saturday night. It was wonderful. The cast really rocked it and were so into their roles after playing for a week. Here is where hubs has spent most of his time lately -

It is totally anti-climactic when a big experience like that ends. You need to wind down and re acclimatize to every day life. Here is what hubs spent Sunday doing -

Playing on his crazy old Sega Saturn he got off Ebay! Not the Wii, not the Playstation. The old Sega Saturn with arcade style games! I is really fun playing the old school games.

I hope you all had a great weekend! We sure did.

Goodnight. xx

Late correction - the Hubs was of course playing his Sega Dreamcast, not the Sega Saturn. He has both and I am clearly not up on all the models of outdated Sega gamestations.
